Biography

Dr. Patrick Belson is a board-certified radiologist with experience and fellowships in nuclear radiology and PET-CT/molecular imaging. Originally from Stevens Point, WI, he was a college athlete and is a former US Navy Flight Surgeon.

In addition to professional interests in nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and oncology imaging, Dr. Belson enjoys the problem-solving aspect of medical imaging. He explains that “Whether I am reading a routine study or complex case, it is important to me to provide answers or direction that can impact patient care. The most gratifying part of radiology is the ability to find answers to challenging problems and complex cases.” He went on to say that “Imaging is often the centerpiece of patient care, and I enjoy being part of that team.”

Dr. Belson tells us that he became a provider because he has always been interested in the sciences, health promotion and values the opportunity to take care of people. He said it was “The opportunities I had taking care of our uniformed service members while on active duty with the US Navy made me realize I was 100% all-in on healthcare.”

When not at work, you will find Dr. Belson spending time with his family and attending his children’s athletic events. He also enjoys hiking in the western United States, fishing, and beekeeping.
