Frederick DeMeuse, PA-C, joins the body imaging radiology team at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. Frederick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. He then completed a Bachelor of Medical Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
With 20 years of experience as a physician assistant, Frederick finds the research side of medicine of great professional interest. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, he replied, “I believe it is my curiosity to learn new things and understand people and patients better.”
He notes that while sometimes challenging, teamwork plays a pivotal role in delivering cohesive and well-coordinated patient care. When asked what he has learned from his patients over the years, he humorously replied, “Everything in moderation… except for bacon.”
Frederick takes pride in his career in healthcare, as well as his wife and his self-deprecating sense of humor. He is passionate about “good food, good times, and good people.”
He likes to spend his free time outside and doing anything adventurous that “can be done without an iPhone.” If he weren’t in healthcare, Frederick would like to work for Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), a federal research and development agency that creates technologies.
