Dr. Arthie Jeyakumar is a highly trained radiologist specializing in Emergency and Teleradiology at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. She completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology & Society and Asian Studies, both with honors. Dr. Jeyakumar then pursued her medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Her postgraduate training included a General Surgery internship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, followed by an Integrated Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Jeyakumar is passionate about utilizing her knowledge and skillset to provide timely and efficient care while advocating for her patients’ needs. Her professional interests encompass women’s health, including uterine fibroid embolization and pelvic congestion syndrome, as well as venous disease management, such as endovascular thrombectomy, venous stent reconstruction, and varicose vein treatment. She is also committed to quality improvement initiatives in her field.
During her training, Dr. Jeyakumar demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, serving as chief resident in her Interventional Radiology program and receiving the Christopher R. Ingraham Leadership Award. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Jeyakumar’s expertise, coupled with her dedication to patient care, makes her a valuable asset to the field of radiology and interventional medicine.
