FACET JOINT INJECTION

Facet joints are small joints at each segment of the spine that can become painful due to arthritis, back injury, or mechanical stress to the spine. A facet joint injection is a treatment to help alleviate pain by injecting the area with a steroid medication using x-ray guidance.
