Receptionist
Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. is seeking a receptionist to effectively provide customer service to patients and visitors of the clinic and to maintain an efficient front desk and reception area.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and assists patients checking-in for appointments.
- Answers telephone: Schedules patient exams; answers inquiries for patients, physicians, and other calls; retrieves and delivers accurate messages to clinic personnel.
- Coordinates maintenance of patient records.
- Communicates information to facilitate continuity of patient care and clinic workflow.
- Communicates and/or forwards exam information to patients, physicians, and clinic personnel.
- Performs a variety of administrative responsibilities ensuring smooth clinic operations.
- Assist with radiology reports and ensuring reports are turned around in 24 hours.
- Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
- Multitask with high attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous clinical experience
- Superior customer service skills
- Medical terminology training / certificate a plus
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma with some business school or vo-tech training
- Ability multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Hours: Mon-Fri Days, Full-Time (benefit eligible)
