We are excited to introduce Dr. David Thompson, diagnostic radiologist and valued Emergency/Teleradiology team member at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. Dr. Thompson combines his surgical expertise with a specialization in diagnostic radiology, offering a unique perspective that enhances patient care.
His impressive medical journey began at Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency and research fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. This experience deepened his understanding of surgical principles before he transitioned to radiology, completing a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in abdominal radiology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.
Guided by the motto of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, “Be worthy to serve the suffering,” Dr. Thompson is dedicated to excellence in patient care. He finds fulfillment in making imaging diagnoses that lead to effective treatments and improved patient outcomes, viewing his role as both an honor and a privilege.
