Dr. Alexandra Besser Joins Consulting Radiologists, Ltd.
Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Alexandra Besser to our Emergency/Teleradiology team. Dr. Besser brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having earned both a PhD in Cancer Biology and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Her commitment to advancing medical science is matched only by her dedication to patient care.
Dr. Besser’s comprehensive training includes a General Surgery internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego. She further honed her expertise through a specialized Body MRI Imaging fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto.
Dr. Besser’s approach to patient care is rooted in empathy and expertise, treating every patient as if they were family. She thrives on the intellectual challenges of complex cases, constantly expanding her knowledge to stay at the forefront of diagnostic radiology and body imaging. This commitment to lifelong learning contributes to better outcomes for our patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Besser maintains an active lifestyle through CrossFit and outdoor activities. She cherishes time with friends and family and enjoys reading and exploring new subjects. This well-rounded approach to life enriches her perspective and contributes to her holistic view of patient care.
