His extensive medical training began at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, NY, where he earned his medical degree, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. His commitment to advancing his medical expertise led him to pursue a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (West) in New York. Here, he gained in-depth experience in diagnostic imaging across various clinical settings, preparing him for his role in emergency/teleradiology.

Dr. Rivera’s passion for musculoskeletal imaging prompted him to further specialize with a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where he trained in state-of-the-art imaging techniques for bone, joint, and soft tissue disorders.
