Dr. Alexandra Besser brings a wealth of education and experience to her role as a member of the Emergency/Teleradiology team at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before earning both a PhD in Cancer Biology and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Besser’s postgraduate training includes a General Surgery internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego. She further specialized with a Body MRI Imaging fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto.

Dr. Besser finds great satisfaction in learning from interesting and challenging cases, which fuels her passion for radiology. Outside of work, she maintains an active lifestyle through CrossFit, enjoys spending time outdoors, and values moments with friends and family. Her love for learning extends beyond her profession, as she often enjoys reading and exploring new subjects.
