Dr. Alexander Sheu, a radiologist from Ann Arbor, Michigan, obtained his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and subsequently completed a preliminary surgical internship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Post-internship, Dr. Sheu pursued an integrated interventional and diagnostic radiology residency at the Stanford School of Medicine in California, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Sheu chose radiology to merge his passions for technology and healthcare. Positively impacting patients’ lives and collaborating closely with the healthcare team is something that Dr. Sheu truly values. He appreciates the valuable lessons learned from patients and is grateful for the privilege of caring for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Sheu thrives on challenging cases, especially those with intricate clinical presentations. He emphasizes the satisfaction of using imaging to confirm a diagnosis by integrating findings with the overall clinical picture.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as pursuing hobbies like hiking, traveling, video games, photography, cooking, and following Michigan Football. His top health advice is to prioritize daily physical activity, watch carbohydrate intake, and maintain a balanced diet for stable blood sugar levels.
